Why can't I send POP mail but I can receive POP emails? I get an error when sending.

In order to send mail, you must authorise yourself to do so.

To do this you must check incoming mail first. If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express, go to TOOLS - Accounts - Mail (tab at the top of the new window - Double click on the email account - Click on servers - Put a check in the box "My Server Requires Authentication".

If this does not work still, it is possible that your ISP is blocking outside email servers. You must use their outgoing mail servers. This is done to prevent SPAM. Please either use the webmail feature of your Cpanel or http://yourdomain.com/webmail/ or use your ISP's servers.

I would like information on your service. Please include details on your support options, what type of 'multiple' backbone connections do you use, what type of backup is there, and any other information you can give me.

With the low fees and a single plan, customers can enjoy greater exposure with minimum investment. 100for100's servers are housed in the same data centre that thousands of web hosting companies use. The data centre includes direct fibre connectivity to provide such as Cogent, Aleron, Epik, UUNET, Level3, AGIS, Telia, AOL TimeWarner and many more!

The key features of our service are our fast server speed, low cost, and the easy-to-use web-based ControlPanel which will allow users to easily create / modify any settings / allow advanced users to make use of Linux CentOS flexibility.

Connectivity is BGP routed so in case one provider experiences problems, traffic is automatically served by the next available carrier from the pick. It has a robust redundant backbone, leveraged server cluster, load balancing, advanced security features and reliable customer service support. This data centre has a direct connection to the Internet Backbone and ATM Network. The self-healing network architecture eliminates a single point of failure. In addition to the backbone, in place is a backup transit from multiple providers in multiple locations to ensure that data will arrive via the shortest possible route.

Because of the backup transit and the many international peers, the network maintains the shortest routes for sending data all over the world. On an ongoing basis, negotiations take place with the top fiber carriers for new routes, additional backup transit providers, and updated peering relationships are always being added.

100for100's servers are connected to Neutelligent, a privately owned company and carries no debt. This is important in todays market place, where hosting companies are going out of business due to poor management and huge expenditures. Neutelligent owns and operates it's own data centres. Neutelligent is not co-located in someone else's data centre. They are located in downtown Tampa,FL. ,in one of the only true NOC's in the southeast. Neutelligent has huge fiber commitments with the following carriers, totalling over 4.5 gigs: UUNET, Level 3, and EPiK.

The entire network is fully switched and utilizes the Border Gateway Protocol Version 4 (BGP4) over Cisco 12000 series GSR routers. This ensures that bandwidth can be routed through the best available carrier giving you seamless connectivity at the same time. We always update the router's IOS after we have stress tested the latest IOS on a non-critical router, to make sure it is very stable. The switch that your equipment will ultimately be connected to is connected back to a core router via fiber.
